Emma received her Ph.D. in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders under the mentorship of Dr. Margarita Kaushanskaya in 2026. She earned a BA in Psychology from Grinnell College in 2019. Emma’s research interests center around bilingual language acquisition in diverse populations (i.e., children with and without language disorders) and contexts (e.g., disfluent input & naturalistic parent-child interactions).
