Christopher is a certified speech-language pathologist and doctoral student working under the mentorship of Dr. Margarita Kaushanskaya in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. He earned a B.A. in German at the University of Wyoming and a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Texas at El Paso. With seven years of clinical service, Christopher has experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan: students in preschool, elementary, middle, and high school, as well as adults and geriatrics. Christopher considers himself a “generalist” and enjoys learning about all aspects of the profession; nevertheless, his primary research interests include cognitive-linguistic interactions, multilingualism, AAC, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Above all, Christopher is passionate about harnessing technological innovations to enrich the clinical armamentarium of speech-language pathology.
