Ishanti Gangopadhyay completed her B.A. at Clark University, Worcester, MA in Psychology and Ph.D. at University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She also received her postdoctoral training at New York University and is currently an Assistant Professor at Indiana University-Bloomington in the department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. Ishanti is the Director of the Language Experience and Multilingualism Research (LEMuR) lab, and her research broadly examines language development in children with and without communication difficulties who come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
