Emily is a doctoral student in the Communication Sciences and Disorders department. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and Linguistics in 2019 and from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2022. Emily’s clinical experience as a speech-language pathologist has been focused in early intervention. Her research interests include bilingualism, language acquisition, executive functioning, and autism. She is especially interested in bilingual language development within the autistic population.
