Dani Hu, B.S.

Dani is a doctoral student who is also completing her master’s degree in May 2025 in Speech-Language Pathology. She earned her B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology from California State University, East Bay in 2023. She will be completing her clinical fellowship during the 2025-2026 school year. Dani is interested in bilingual language acquisition and maintenance of children with or without language disorders that speak underrepresented heritage languages, specifically in the context of parent-child interactions, executive functioning and cognition, and word learning. As a native speaker of Tagalog, she is especially interested in collaborating with Filipino communities to research Tagalog-English bilingualism.
