Margarethe McDonald, Ph.D.

Margarethe is an Assistant Professor in the Speech-Language-Hearing: Sciences and Disorders Department at the University of Kansas. Her research focuses on bilingual speech production and perception in children, with a focus on the effects of exposure to accented speech on phonetic and phonological development. Her work aims to create tools to assess speech and language abilities in children who speak languages for which few or no normed assessments are available.
