Caitlyn Slawny, M.S., CCC-SLP

Caitlyn is a doctoral student and certified speech-language pathologist. She graduated with her B.A. in both Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences and Spanish from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and earned her M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Rush University. Caitlyn practiced clinically as a bilingual speech-language pathologist with children and adults prior to pursuing her doctoral degree. Her research interests include bilingualism, cognition, pragmatics, language acquisition, and parent-child interactions. She is specifically interested in how autistic children learn and use language in bilingual environments.
